For the loss in the semifinal of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the camp of the Super Eagles would have been turned into another theater over match bonuses.
According for report in camp, while almost all the players have been paid bonuses for the second round match against Mozambique, five of the players have however not received bank alerts.
To further heightened the anxiety in the camp, some players have started receiving bank alerts for the quarterfinal match against Algeria.
The issue of match allowances caused uproar in the camp before the second round game against Mozambique, with the players refusing to train and a threat to boycott the match.
But the National Sports Commission (NSC) promptly settled the ugly development and allowances for the group stage were cleared.
