WAFCON: Nigeria 1-0 Zambia: Oshoala keeps Super Falcons hope alive

Super Falcons' hope of 11th Women Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) brightens with a 1-0 victory over Zambia.

Asisat Oshoala put the Falcons ahead with the only goal in the 8th minute when she capitalized on Zambia's defensive blunder.

The Falcons were reduced to 10 players after Blessing Demeyin was sent off in the 41st minute to end of the first half.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, the Super Falcons held on the the lead and their first full points in the tournament.

Next is Egypt and the Super Falcons will need not less than three goals to sail through into the quarter finals.
