Newly promoted Serie A side, Venezia have concluded negotiations with Sevilla to sign Nigeria international, Akor Adams.
The negotiations which began over two weeks ago saw the Venezia officials travelling to Spain on Tuesday before finally tying the deal.
Although other details of the contract are still being awaited, the Italian club will pay €16 million approximately equal to ₦22.04 billion (twenty-two billion, forty-six million, seven hundred twenty thousand naira) based on the mid-market exchange rate of $1 = ₦1,377.92.
"Venezia FC have reached an agreement to sign Nigerian striker, Akorjerome Adams from Sevilla.
"The Serie A club will pay €16 million for the forward, with the deal now agreed.
Adams has also accepted the move and is set for a new chapter in Italy.
