Osimhen insists he's ready for Juventus or Atletico  

Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence that Galatasaray will be up to the task when they face either Juventus or Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League Playoffs.

Galatasaray finished in the Top 24 teams of the Champions League after the group phase and will now know their Playoffs foes tomorrow when the draw is staged.

“Juventus are a very good team, so also Atletico,” Osimhen said after a 2-0 loss at Manchester City Wednesday night.

“Whoever comes, we will do our best.”

Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk was also confident the Turkish champions will be ready for the next Champions League challenge.

The winners of the Galatasaray Playoffs will battle either Tottenham or Liverpool in the next round of the Champions League.

The Super Eagles striker also praised the winter transfers by Galatasaray.

“The club are working on transfers. We have signed two very good players,” he remarked.
