Oshoala hits CAF over Morocco preference
Six-time Africa Women's Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, has hits at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for its pretentious preference for Morocco in hosting major tournaments.
Oshoala questions CAF partiality, suggesting that the continental body appears compensating Morocco for whatever gesture.
She decried the pattern of awarding every major tournaments in the continent to the country in apparent conclusion that Morocco is the only country with facilities to host competitions in Africa.
"The big question here is when will this whole CAF compensation Morocco end. Award tournaments all.....it's getting boring now. We need other countries to step up. Everything concerning African football happens in Morocco, feels like that's the new HQ."
