The UEFA Champions League playoff between Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid was reduced to a battle of two Nigerians.
Brugge's Nigeria international, Raphael Onyedika and Ademola Lookman were in opposing sides in the 3-3 thriller but it was Onyedika who shone brightest.
Although Lookman scored to give Atletico a 2-0 in the added time of the first half, it Onyedika who got the most accolades.
The midfielder started Brugge's resurgence in the 52nd minute, seven minutes after his Super Eagles mate's goal. He was to later contribute to two other goals, giving assists in the own goal scored by Ordóñez in the 79th minute and Tzolis in the added time to even scores at 3-3.
