Onuachu scores, breaks Galatasaray jinx
Super Eagles forward, Paul Onuachu was on target Saturday as Trabzonspor defeated Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Onuachu found the net as early as the third minute in a clash in which compatriot and Gala talisman, Victor Osimhen was absent.
It was however a record breaking event for Onuachu who was scoring against Gala for the first time. Ivorian international Wilfried Singo grabbed the equaliser for Galatasaray in the 48th minute.
The game was looking as though it will head into a draw when Chibuike Nwaiwu grabbed a second goal for Trabzonspor following a timely assist from Anthony Nwakaeme.
It was a crunchy game that saw the referee dishing out six yellow cards three for each side with on loan goalkeeper Andre Onana equally bagging a yellow.
