NIS Kaduna Zonal Center begins exams for 74 students

The Kaduna Zonal Center of the National Institute for Sports, NIS, has commenced examination for its students.

The Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Adeduro Taiwo Henry, said a total of 74 students are currently sitting for the examination. According to him, the breakdown comprises 71 footballers, one badminton player, one handball player, and one athlete.

The examination is scheduled to last for two weeks. The first week is dedicated to practical sessions, while the second week will be devoted to theoretical examinations.

Mr. Henry expressed satisfaction with the conduct and commitment of both students and staff at the Kaduna center. He noted that the exercise has been conducted in a peaceful and organized atmosphere since it began.

He also expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State Government and the Kaduna State Sports Commission for their continued support to the center. He said the partnership has helped to strengthen sports training and certification in the zone.

Mr. Henry added that the support of the CEO and DG of NIS, Comrade Philip Shaibu, has been impressive. He stated that the leadership’s encouragement has enabled the zonal office to deliver quality training and effectively manage its programmes.
