NBBF training programme for technical officials ends in Abuja
...Over 145 technical officials graced the three-day course

One of the cardinal programmes of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), the refresher course for technical officials has ended in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.

The three-day refresher course conducted by a very experienced and seasoned FIBA accredited referee, Nuhu Samuel, took place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja from June 20 - 22, 2024.

The course was for all Basketball Technical Officials that is referees, table officials, match commissioners and Statisticians and it's aimed at updating the participants with the new rules of the game as well as to put them at par with their counterparts from other parts of the globe.

Over 145 technical officials took part in the refresher course that included the latest theories, rules, regulations and informations about the slamming and dunking game. The participants were given practical drills of the rules and regulations of the game.

NBBF scribe, Peter Njoku, was on hand to provide all the needed logistics for a hitch free training course that started on Friday and ended today.

The NBBF explained that it's imperative that all technical officials are kept abreast with the latest rules and regulations governing the sport of basketball.
