Some section of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan fans have pleaded with Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle to consider Qamar Adegoke for invitation to the Unity Cup in London.

The fans, according to Mutiu Ijadunola, who serve as their spokesman, said with Adegoke's performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), he shown he could be understudy Victor Osimhen if encouraged and properly guided.

Adegoke has proven to be the NPFL’s most clinical striker iaveraging 0.68 goals per 90 minutes over 29 matches, Adegoke’s predatory instincts thrive even in the NPFL's defensive climate.

At 21, he offers the stamina for high-pressing systems and the discipline (only one yellow card) required for international stages.

His Market Value is placed at at €491k, making him the league’s most valuable domestic asset. "London is the perfect 'shop window' for his talents. He isn't just a prospect; he is a specialist right-footed "Number 9" hitting his peak at the ideal time," Ijadunola said.

He added that it would be unfair for Chelle to ignore Adegoke and deny him the opportunity to showcase his talent in London.
