Nigeria international, Ademola Lookman again proved why Atletico Madrid bought him from Atalanta as he scored against Real Madrid in the highly anticipated clash at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Matteo Ruggeri’s cross was brilliantly flicked into the path of Ademola Lookman by Giuliano Simeone, and the Nigeria international makes no mistake on his Madrid derby debut in the 33rd minute.

Following his January move to Atlético Madrid, Lookman quickly established himself, scoring in his early appearances against major opponents, including this goal against Real Madrid.

It's his second goal against Real Madrid in his career across all competitions. His first goal against the Spanish giants came while playing for Atalanta BC in the UEFA Champions League

On resumption, Real Madrid came out stronger and in the 52nd minute, Vinicius Jnr scored from the penalty spot to even scores before Federico Valverde increased Real tally on 55th minute.

Coach Diego Simeone replaced Lookman with Nico Gonzalez while Alexander Sarloth replaced ANtoine Griezmann. And in the 66th minute, Atletico rallied back with a goal Nahuel Molina who had earlier replaced Johnny Cardoso.
