The Interim Management Committee of Lobi Stars of Makurdi rose from an emergency management meeting today and ordered the indefinite suspension of the Technical Adviser, Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed.
According to a statement signed by the Director Media and Communications, Emmanuel Terwase Uja, coach Bala Mohammed was asked to stay aside due to the poor performance of the team.
The management cited poor performance as reason for the suspension, having played 6 games and earned only 7 points best of 18 and placed 6th position out of 8 clubs.
The suspended Technical adviser has been directed to hand over to the Chief Coach of the club John Onuh (Abacha) with immediate effect.
