Kebbi Fishers TM praises govt, sponsors for team's performance

The team manager of Kebbi BSC, otherwise known as Kebbi Fishers, Abdullahi Yahaya has attributed the team's performance to hard work and support from Kebbi State government as well from private organisation like Watcott Rice Nigeria Limited and Kebbi FA, stressing they have been their back bone

Yahaya said the team that was established in 2017 has gone for tournaments in Turkey in 2018 and 2023 in Italy representing Africa.

"We are the only team from Africa that took part in the 2018 All Winners Cup. We also went to the 2023 edition in Italy.

"All these can't be possible without hard work and support from the people and organisation I have mentioned.

"As far as this tournament, nothing to fear. No threat for us, we got to Kaduna and started camping and preparation before the host and other teams. We have spent a lot time together here in Kaduna putting our heads together on how to remain champions.
"Like you know, we are number one in Nigeria and Africa, we have won two matches already with 11 goals for and 2 against," he said.
