Isa Musa cries out over Uche Collins' shady transfer

By Vincent Akinbami

Isa Musa Eroje, a former international who acted as the agent to Uche Collins said the player is crying out and àccusing him of selling him to Enyimba without proper information to him the player

Eroje narrated the true story of Uche Collins to www.sportsunlimited.ng on phone decrying the manner in which contract are being signed in Nigeria and that of Uche Collins and Enyimba in particular.

" I met Wale Oye, a journalist, who told me he had a slot in Enyimba, that ifeanyi Ekwueme asked him to get them a quality player. I send Uche Collins to Wale and he told me Collins will be signed for 2 years for N2.5million and salary will be N600,000 monthly

"Wale suddenly called me that I should send the player's clearance immediately or else he would miss out being signed in Enyimba. After a while, Wale and Ifeanyi Ekwueme told me they can't sign Collins for two years that he is prone to injury but will be signed him for six months and they wílll watch him, if he improves, they will call me to make it a two years contract.

"When the season started, I asked for the copy of the six months contract but Wale and Ekwueme, the Sporting Director of Enyimba, who was also my teammate in our playing days.

"Suddenly, Ekwueme called my player, Uche Collins and gave him N200,000, saying the money was part of his own money for the contract, the boy was surprised and then called me.

Musa alleged that Collins told me him he was asked to sign an empty form, without content.

The former Eroje Plateau United defender said he later got the contract agreement through another means and he saw that the boy was tricked to sign a 2-years contract.

"Like I said earlier, on the day of signing, the player was told to sign his column, which means that he signed on an empty form. According to the player, they said they had discussed with me his manager, that he should just sign.

"I told him what I discussed with Wale Oye was N400,000 monthly salary and a 6-month contract but they did otherwise.

"The agent fee, I didnt see anything. He promised to come to Kaduna but has not come. Wale stopped picking my calls. I called Ifeanyi Ekwueme to complain but since then he has stopped picking my calls.

"Wale later told someone that he has collected N1 million from Enyimba, that next season he will give me N1 million naira. The deal was for this season and not next season.

"For the sake of the player, they should give me my agreed agent fee of N2.5 million and allow the boy to finish his two-year contract, or revert back to the six months and thereafter free him.
