Iloenyosi unveils 7-Point Agenda for South-East football if elected into NFF board
Chikelue Iloenyosi, a former Nigeria International and incumbent Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, ANSFA, has unveiled a seven-point agenda for football renaissance in the South East if elected into office as a member of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Executive Board, sportsunlimited.com.ng reports.
Iloenyosi, 45, few days ago, declared his intention to run for the September 26 NFF Executive Board election to represent the South East.
The former Fenerbahce of Turkey defender made no pretences about his desire to 'unlock' Football renaissance in the South East States.
'General' Iloenyosi, as he is affectionately called, revealed that if elected into the executive board of the NFF during the September 26 elective Congress in Lafia, Nasarawa State, he would work assiduously to 'strenghten representation of the South East Zone in the board.
The 'Capacity Chairman' further hinted that 'grassroot Football revival' will mark a cardinal point of his tenure just as he would ensure infrastructural development in the zone.
The former Iwuanyanwu Nationale left-back further informed that as a former player who knows the nitty-gritty of the game, if elected, he will ensure that players welfare is given priority attention.
"My regime will work to ensure Coaches Development while at the same time attracting partnerships to ensure effective funding", Iloenyosi stressed.
