According to her, she joined Kaduna Referee Council 2010, became a Grade One referee in 2017 under the Kaduna Referee Council.

"It all started during my days as an athlete, I do go to Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna to train and I do  see referees training there too.

"On a particular day, Mr Titus Jogai asked me to join them in training that they needed people like me and promised to train me to become a football referee and that was it"

Esther who have been  officiating in the NNL, NWFL and NLO said

she always feel good and give glory to God each time she is  appointed for a match and the match ended successful.

In her words; "my greatest joy is that I have never encountered any problem during or after any  National League matches but have had issues with grassroots matches."

She said she never played competitive football but only played for fun and that was in her secondary school days. But she was into athletics before she became a referee.

"Presently,  am a student and an entrepreneur aside from being a Referee. I love being a Referee and I have been advising up coming referees to give their best any time they have the opportunity to handle any match so that the sky will be their limit.

"I look forward to seeing myself officiate in the Nigeria premier league," she enthused.
