Hard work, players’ dedication secret of Nasarawa Utd -Baruwa

Nasarawa United of Lafia are breathing down the neck of River United in the race to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) with only two points separate the two teams at the top.

And the goalkeeper trainer of the team and former Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Olatunji Baruwa (MON) said the performance of the team this season is simply hardwork and the players’ dedication.

Last season, Nasarawa United end 12th but so far this season, they are second on the table with 31point, of 9 wins, four draws and four losses.

But Baruwa says “the secret is hard work and dedication from the players, the technical crew, the management and motivation from the Nasarawa State”.

“We will keep working hard and try to win our last two games of the first round and continue from there when the second round begins,” he said.
