Experienced gaffer, Bala Nikyu has been engaged by the management of Gombe United as its new technical adviser in a strategic move to ensure the Savannah Scorpions escape relegation.

According to a statement by Shuaibu Muhammad Angazy, the club's head of Media and Communication, the appointment is a strategic move at bolstering the coaching staff of Gombe United.

"Nikyu brings with him a wealth of experience as the Technical Adviser for several prominent clubs in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), including Wikki Tourists, Katsina United, and Nasarawa United. With a successful track record, including a stint as the head coach of Niger Tornadoes.

"The decision to enlist Nikyu's expertise comes as Gombe United prepares for the crucial remainder of the NPFL fixtures. With the club's sights set on maintaining its status in the league. The management believes that Nikyu's leadership will provide the necessary guidance to navigate through the challenges ahead."

The club's General Manager, Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, expressed confidence in Nikyu's capabilities.
