Excellent FC alumnus, Anayo Iwuala pays tribute to Moses Etu

In a heartfelt display of appreciation, Nigerian professional footballer, Anayo Iwuala, a product of Excellent FC's youth development programme, visited esteemed sports administrator, Moses Etu at his Warri residence on Wednesday.

Iwuala, who currently plays for Al Arabi in Kuwait and the Nigeria national team, was accompanied by his youth coach and CEO of Excellent FC, Mr. Onome James, on the visit.

He presented Etu with a personalized jersey and drinks as a token of gratitude.

The visit was a nostalgic reminder of Iwuala's humble beginnings in football, which began at Excellent FC. Etu, a renowned sports administrator, spotted Iwuala's talent during an FA Cup quarterfinal match between Excellent FC and Delta Force, and subsequently took him under his wing, providing guidance and support that significantly contributed to Iwuala's growth and success in the football world.

Iwuala's gesture acknowledges the pivotal role Etu played in his career, from talent identification to mentorship and development.
