Former Chairman of Heartland of Owerri, Chief Chibuzo Etuemena, Mr Bash has described late coach Ramson Madu as a 'disciplined' and 'hard working' gentleman during his time.
Ramson Madu, who was a defender and midfielder during his illustrious playing died on Tuesday, 28 April, 2026.
A former Iwuanyanwu Nationale wing-back, Madu was later to become a coach and would be affectionately remembered for tactically and technically steering the Naze Millionaires back into the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, within one season of their relegation to the second-tier domestic league, NNL, in 2015/2016 season.
In an emotion-laden tribute to the late gaffer, Chief Goodfaith Chibuzo Etuemena, who is fondly called 'Digital Chairman', recalled the sterling qualities of late Ramson Madu, stressing that the game has lost one of its finest gentleman.
"The news of the demise of late Ramson Madu came to me like a bolt from the 'invisinle' blues", Mr Bash began in the condolence message.
"It was like a hook in the throat, difficult to swallow and impossible to regurgitate. I miss a hard worker, disciplined and loyal staff.
"During my time as Chairman of Heartland FC, I worked with Coach Ramson Made. He was in charge when we fought our way back into the Premier League within one season of our relegation.
"It was then I noticed his sterling qualities, -- hard work, discipline, honest and loyal, -- it's sad the club, the state, and all the stakeholders will miss him.
"I pray God to grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his gentle soul rest in peace", the condolence Etuemena personally signed, concluded.
