Edo pledges support for Kanye, world autistic cycling champion

Edo State government has pledged to support Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, the world's autistic cyclists champion.

‎Edo State Commissioner of Youth Affairs, Hon. Charity Amayaenvbo disclosed this yesterday when the Riding for Autism team paid him a courtesy call in his office in Benin City.

‎According to Hon. Amayaenvbo who said Governor Monday Okpebholo and the entire Edo people were proud of Kanyeyachukwu's feat in both cycling and painting, the State is supporting him "because he is an inspiration to Edo youths".

‎"His journey is not just about cycling, it is about courage, resilience and possibility.

‎As a government, we are proud of him, we support him. We believe his story will inspire millions.

‎We commend his courage and assure him of our moral support as he embarks on this historic cycling", the Commissioner stressed.

‎The cycling team are expected to continue their journey today with a ride to Ore from where they will proceed to Abeokuta before ending in Lagos.
