Ebuehi out of potential clash with Osimhen

Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi is still out of action in the Serie A and as such will not be in for Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani against Napoli, writes www.sportsunlimited.ng.

Ebuehi is still on the sidelines due to a season-ending knee injury.

In the first round, at the Maradona Stadium, Empoli shocked Napoli with a 1-0 win with Ebuehi playing a prominent role in the unexpected result.

On Saturday, Napoli will aim to keep the fading UEFA Champions League qualification hopes alive with Victor Osimhen expected, as usual, to lead the Napoli attack while Ebuehi will be missing in could've been a potential Osimhen versus Ebuehi's confrontation.

Empoli came into the 2023/24 season after a lower mid-table finish in the 2022/23 campaign. So, the team would hope to maintain its position if not attempt to breach the top half of the standings.
