Feelers from Gombe United indicates that the team might not play the week 22 Nigeria Profession Football League (NPFL) match against Enyimba International of Aba, reports www.sportsunlimited.ng.According to Louis Machocho, a keen follower of the team, who quoted a source, Gombe United is likely to miss the NPFL Matchday 22 clash against Enyimba.The source, Machocho categorically stated, finance, is the sole challenge facing the club.Gombe United remains one amongst the least sponsored clubs in the NPFL, with a total estimated monthly budget to be N𝟏𝟐,𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎 only, a figure that can be best compared to NNL clubs, as no standard Premier League club settles for nothing less than #𝟑𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎𝟎 and above monthly, excluding match bonuses and travelling logistics.
