Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle has admitted facing pressure as coach of Nigeria but quickly said he's excited coaching the team.
Speaking at a post match conference after the victory over Uganda, the Malian said playing in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations comes with, saying he's equal to the task.
"To play in the 16th round is a lot of pressure, for sure. But actually, I'm excited about that. Since I came, I have a lot of pressure and I feel good," he said.
Responding to a question on road to lifting the trophy, the coach said himself and the players are calm with their aspiration.
"I'm more calm than the last AFCON. The players are calm as well. I try to stay focused on. on the goal ahead, to take the matches as they come. I have my vision .Sometimes it's very good, sometimes it's bad.
"I'm happy that the players who didn't start the tournament started against Uganda and they showed something. They scored three goals and I'm very happy for that. Now I have a little pain in my head because I have to do a lot of choice because everybody can play in the team and it's perfect for me."
On the atmosphere in Fes since the team arrived, Chelle said everything has been perfect.
"The atmosphere is perfect. We are calm. If you watch the game, you can say I'm more calm than the last AFCON.The coach expressed happiness playing the next game in Fes. "I'm very happy to stay in Fes because the town is good and calm, The people are very nice to us.
"Now we can stay focused for the difficult task ahead and Fes offers the facilities to concentrate. There is beach, we can do a lot of training sessions, maybe two or three hours, so I'm happy to stay here."
