... As Osimhen signs off with his 12th goal of the season

Two AFCON bound Nigerians, Calvin Bassey and Victor Osimhen were on the score sheets in England and Turkey as they jet out for the African football showpiece in Morocco.
Bassey, who had not seen the back of the net in over 10 months marked a long-awaited return to the scoresheet with what proved to be the decisive goal, heading Fulham back in front midway through the first half as Fulham edged Burnley 3–2 in a five-goal Premier League thriller at Turf Moor on Saturday.
The Nigerian international powered home a Harry Wilson cross to restore the visitors’ advantage, scoring for the first time in the Premier League since February 15, 2025, when he netted the winner in Fulham’s 2–1 league victory over Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage.
In the same game, Samuel Chukwueze continued his impressive form by supplying the assist for Fulham’s third goal.
In Turkey, Osimhen signed off for the AFCON with clinical finish in Galatasaray's 4-2 rout of Antalyaspor.
The Nigerian forward, who endured a quiet outing in the 1–0 defeat to Monaco, made amends in the second half at the Corendon Airlines Park Antalya Stadium by netting Galatasaray’s third goal.
Osimhen’s strike took his tally against Antalyaspor to five goals in three appearances and his 12th in the Super Liga.
