Ayomide Wahab stays in Turkey for holiday after impressive season
Nigerian striker Ayomide Wahab has decided to remain in Turkey for his holidays following the completion of the Turkish Under 19 League.
The Ibadan-born forward was the star of the season in the Turkish Under 19 League netting 17 goals with 5 assists in 12 games that he played for Igdir F.K.
This was an incredible performance in all standards coming from the SCL Academy of Ibadan graduate.
And as some teams have begun to show interest in luring Ayomide Wahab away from Igdir F.K, the 19-year-old has decided not to travel to Nigeria for the holiday.
"I am not traveling to Nigeria for the break. I want to remain here (Turkey) and I have been training hard.
"Everything look good here and I want to thank everyone for the supports since I came here in January," Ayomide Wahab explained.
As things stand, the eggheads at Igdir F.K would want to keep Ayomide considering his brilliant goalscoring form last term finishing as the top scorer.
