Ibadan-born striker Ayomide Wahab on Monday evening, March 16, resumed training in Turkey as he recovers from injury he sustained against Erzurumspor FK last week Wednesday.

It was a disappointing day for Igdir F.K fans as Ayomide Wahab only played few minutes in his side's Under-19 encounter before he was stretched out.

There was initial fear that he could be sidelined for many days, but after the Nigerian young striker was examined by Turkish Doctors, he was asked to rest for few days.

His teammates however missed him in the match against Erzurumspor as they lost 2-1.

"I have resumed training yesterday evening even though I only jogged, but everything looking good for me and I can't wait to return to action," Ayomide Wahab explained.

Meanwhile, some clubs have been showing interest to lure Ayomide Wahab away from Turkish side Igdir FK going by his brilliant goalscoring performance so far this year netting 8 goals plus 2 assists in just 4 games.

His boss who is a Canadian based Football Administrator Runo Awenode explained that he is currently studying the offers.
