The managing director/chief executive officer of Autograph Construction Company, Chief Kachi Elezianya, has indicated he would support Team Imo represented by Eziachi Secondary School Orlu (ESSO) in the South East preliminaries of the First Bank/Sam Okwaraji U-16 Secondary School Memoir.
Elezianya made this declaration during a courtesy call by the Imo State Local Organizing Committee (LOC) chaired by Hon Okechukwu J. Inegbu and Deacon Henry Anthony, the secretary.
According to Elezianya, "This is a beautiful project. Okwaraji was a national hero who incidentally hailed from Imo State. We have every reason to support the secondary school representing the state for it to go far in the competition".
The Autograph MD/CEO noted that sports, particularly football, was an avenue for employment, and in Nigeria, a veritable means of fighting insecurity by way of engaging the youths and keeping them out of the streets.
In his remarks, the Imo LOC chairman of the competition, Inegbu, commended the Autograph MD/CEO for identifying with Team Imo. He promised that Team Imo represented by ESSO would not disappoint even as he assured that his side would be in constant touch with Autograph for mutual partnership.
Elezianya said Autograph would continue its support for Team Imo if it would maintain an impressive run in the competition.
Ugochukwu Unaegbu, Team Imo assistant coach, represented the head coach, Emeka Okoronkwo, during the meeting.
