Super Eagles midfielder and Leicester city loanee, Joseph Aribo is among highest paid championship players it has been revealed. 

The former Rangers ace joined the foxes on loan from Southampton for the remaining part of this season.

Aribo shot to prominence at Rangers, where he won the Premiership title and Scottish FA Cup, and scored in the 2022 Europa League final defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt.

That earned the midfielder a £10million move to Southampton and a significant pay rise, going from £7,500-per-week in Scotland to £70,000-per-week.

Despite having an improved package at Leicester City who are in a hurry to return to the premier league, Aribo's take home however, dwarfed by the take home of number one on the list, Kalvin Phillips who pockets £150k at Ipswich.
