Ahmed Musa promises stronger Kano Pillars next season 

The General Manager of Kano Pillars, Ahmed Musa (MON, OON) has assured the teeming fans of the club a better performance next season.

In a statement he personally signed, the former Super Eagles captain assured the supporters a different and stronger team in the 2026/2027 season.

"I want to assure all our supporters that a different and stronger Kano Pillars will emerge. Under my leadership, we will continue to do everything humanly possible to restore and propel the status of this great club to the level it deserves among the elite clubs in Africa," he said..

He appreciated the Kano State Government and Governor's Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf for the continuous support and commitment towards the growth and development of football in our dear state. 

"We are equally grateful to our front jersey sponsors, RFI Hausa, for believing in the vision and identity of this great club," he stated.

"I wish to express our profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for guiding us through the successful completion of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

"Despite our slow and unfamiliar start to the campaign, our darling club, Kano Pillars FC, showed resilience, character and determination to retain its NPFL status for another season. This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support, prayers and encouragement from the good people of Kano and football lovers across the country.

"Our sincere appreciation also goes to the Kano State Football Association, the entire football community, our loyal fans and supporters groups, stakeholders, media partners and everyone who stood firmly behind Sai Masu Gida throughout the highs and lows of the season."

He praised the players and technical crew, for their sacrifice, commitment and fighting spirit till the very end. 

"The journey was challenging, but your determination ensured that Kano Pillars FC remains where it truly belongs.
