3SC coach: My boys tried, it wasn't just our day 

The Chief Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Nurudeen Aweroro has saluted the courage of his players despite going down 0-1 to Katsina United on Sunday.

The former Ikorodu City coach, while congratulating Katsina United for their victory, said the result would have been different if his boys had converted their chances.

"I want to salute the courage of my boys, they did their best, they missed scoring chances, otherwise the result would have been different. I also salute their resilience as well,, it was just good enough to come out clean," he said.

Aweroro said his team would go back and ensure they pick the three points in their next match.

He praised the match officials, in his words , it is one of the best officiating this season.
