The Chairman of the Main Organizing Committee (MOC) of the 3rd Edition of the Senate President Under-18 Annual Unity Cup, Dr. Mike Uyi, has issued a final advise to all participating teams to present only age-eligible players, declaring the tournament as the "authentic birthplace of the next Golden Eaglets."

Dr Dr. Uyi declared: "With this constellation of Yobo, Amun, Etokobe, Uwe,Ahmed Musa and Chief Scout, Agent Omamome, this year’s edition will not be child’s play. We are here to produce the next Kanu, the next Yobo, the next Ahmed Musa, the next Osimhen."

The tournament Coordinator and National President of Grassroot Sports Federation (GRASOF), Hon. John Ekpenyong, confirmed that foreign scouts from Europe, Asia and Africa alongside top NPFL and academy coaches have registered interest.

"GRASOF is proud to appoint MOC to reset grassroots football in Nigeria. Expect professionalism, transparency and real contracts for our youths," Hon. Ekpenyong stated.
