The Nigeria international has left Real Sociedad to join Valencia for a second time.

Sadiq joins Valencia for a €5m fee and has penned a deal to 2028.

He said: "I'm truly excited and happy. I've been waiting for this moment since last summer, and I'm finally here: I'm the happiest man in the world.

"I wanted to come back, I did everything I could to make it happen, and the club also gave their all. Valencia is one of the most important clubs in Spain: you can feel it in the culture, in the fans, who never abandon the team."

Sadiq also praised the work of coach Carlos Corberán: "He arrived at a difficult time and found solutions for the team. Now my goal is to help the club reach the level it deserves.

"You can see that the coach always wants more, and that's positive: all we need now are results."

On the Los Che support, Sadiq concluded: "Thank you for your support and messages: I'm finally here. Your support means a lot."
