Osimhen challenges Diaz for AFCON top scorers award

Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen increased his Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) goal haul with a goal against Algeria today to breath on the neck of tournament leading scorer, Brahim Diaz of Morocco.

Diaz has five goals to his name and he is one goal ahead of the likes of Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen.

Díaz is the first player in the history of the tournament to score in each of his first five matches.
