NRA delegation pays condolence visit to Zubairu's family
The National Deputy President of the Nigeria football Referees Association Mr. Kelechi Mejuobi leads the national executives of the association and attended three days fidda'u prayer of the late National president of the association Alhaji Sani Zubairu who died last Monday at his residence in Bauchi metropolitan today Thursday.
The Deputy President described late Sani Zubairu as an examplary leader who lead the whistle members in the country without trabalism, religious sentiment or any form of bias.
Mr. Kelechi Mejuobi said members of the association across the country were shocked when they had the sad news of passing away of their president.
He said the national body of the association would immortalized late National president Sani Zubairu which he said his services to the development of football and Nation at large will not allow to go without consideration the sacrificed he made. Let me told you to the battle of my mind missing Sani Zubairu at this material time is not just for you as his family is for all of us the members of the whistle and football family in the country.
He said the late president leave a vucum in the leadership of the Association that would be difficult to fill considering his kindness, patience, honesty, dedication and above all he is a God fearing leader.
Mr. Kelechi Mejuobi pointed out that the national body of the association would continue carrying the family of the deceased alone in all their affairs. We are here in Bauchi state at the resident of our Boss, our mentor and our leader late Zubairu to condole his family, government and good people of Bauchi state, Mr. Kelechi stated.
Responding on behalf of the family of late Sani Zubairu a junior brother to him Dr. Wada Umar Sani thanked them, the NFF executives under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau MON, all football family and entire people across the country who paid them a condolences visit and those called them through phone to sympathy with them.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of late Sani Zubairu and May Almighty Allah to forgive him and Jannatil Firdaus to be his final home.
Those that attended the three days fidda'u prayer includes former president of the assassination Alhaji Ahmad Maude Zaria,Barau football club Kano board member Alhaji muktar Ahmad Zico and some of the state referees Association executives among others. Thanks, Malikawa
