Bendel Insurance Football Club on Wednesday, January 14,2026 began the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) on a positive note as they defeated Kwara United 1-0 at Ilorin Township stadium.

Akpan Emanuel scored the only goal of the match day 20 encounter in the 37th minute of action after the Benin Arsenals have wasted several scoring chances.

The revised fixture against the Harmony boys was the first match of the second round of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and a back-to-back victory,confirming the Benin Arsenals' superiority over the Harmony boys .
