Nigeria hosts African Nations Cup Beach Volleyball zonal qualifiers July 

Badagry, Lagos State has been picked by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) to host the Zone 3 African Nations Cup Beach Volleyball qualifiers.

The tournament, for both the male and female teams will hold from July 3-7, 2026.

The championship, sanctioned by the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB), will bring together elite beach volleyball athletes from across West Africa in a competition that promises excitement, excellence, and regional unity.

Countries expected to participate in the tournament include Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin Republic, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Niger Republic, and Liberia.

Hosting the tournament further demonstrates Nigeria's growing reputation as a destination for major volleyball events and reflects the Nigeria Volleyball Federation's commitment to the development and promotion of beach volleyball within the country and across the African continent.

Badagry, with its scenic coastline and rich cultural heritage, provides a fitting venue for the championship and is expected to offer athletes, officials, and spectators an unforgettable experience.
