Despite deciding to switch allegiance to Nigeria, Wrexham goalkeeper, Arthur Okonkwo still requires permission from the English FA before formalising the move.
www.sportsunlimited gathered that the English FA is yet to formally approve Arthur Okonkwo’s international switch from England to Nigeria, with the NFF still awaiting the final letter needed to complete the process.
The 24-year-old Wrexham goalkeeper has already committed to playing for Nigeria after talks with coach Eric Chelle, but cannot feature in competitive matches until the English FA formally writes to the NFF to ratify the switch.
