Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski has seen his efforts across the month of February aptly recognised by La Liga.


This comes by way of confirmation that the Polish international has been named the Player of the Month in Spain’s top-flight.

Lewandowski, for his part, took to the pitch in La Liga on four occasions across February.


And, along the way, he found the net on four occasions, including a match-winning brace to guide Barcelona to a last-gasp victory at Celta Vigo.


The former Bayern Munich man, as a result, was earlier this week afforded a place amongst the nominees for the latest Player of the Month prize, alongside the likes of Marcos Llorente, and Federico Valverde.


And, as alluded to above, on Friday, ‘Lewa’ has beaten out the competition for the accolade.
