Kada Warriors turn to God for promotion

The new General manager of Kada Warriors and former Nigeria international, Garba Lawal has put the hope of the team gaining promotion to the Premier League in the hands of God. The team is currently placed second to last in the Group C of the Nigeria National League (NNL). When asked if taking the General Manager job of Kada Warriors at this time wasn't a gamble that might have a negative effect on his personality, Garba said taking Kada Warriors job at the present position on the table will not affect his reputation. In his words: "When I was playing, very few believe I will be a successful player. I worked hard, took responsibility and God made me a success. "As human being, you have to take responsibility. Result comes when God says it will come, all you need is, do your best. I am not God, the main thing is if you are comfortable when taking the job, which I will say I am, it the passion you have that drives you, your success is now in the hand of God. "You can not decide what happens, it all in the hands of God, it only God that will decide what will happen," he said. On the team gaining promotion to the Nigeria Premier League, Lawal said he hope so. "You can not say this is what will happen, your performance will determine what will happen. The management will try their best, the coaches will also try their methodology and philosophy, we can not go into the pitch and play for the players. Once they start winning one, two, three matches, the table will change. "We will do our best and leave the rest for God. Even in the Nigeria Premier League as it is, nobody can really say who will win the league." He praised the Kaduna State government for it 100% support to the team.
