... As West Ham holds Fulham

The two Nigerians on parade for Fulham in the 1-1 draw with West Ham had excellent game with Alex Iwobi recording the most impressive performance.

Fulham dropped points late as Danny Ings scored a last-minute winner to snatch a point for West Ham.

Fulham dominated the game but were unable to find the back of the net with chances from Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore.

Ings came on with eight minutes to go and made his mark on the game as he forced the ball into the bottom corner sending the away end into wild celebrations.

Fulham made their first changes of the season, with new signing Joachim Andersen coming into the side and Raul Jiminez replacing last season's top scorer Rodrigo Muniz, who has had a tough start to the season.

West Ham made one change. Lucas Paqueta missed out after his exploits for Brazil during the international break; replacing him was Tomas Soucek.

Traore had an early burst down the right-hand side but was unable to find a Fulham man with his cross.

Jiminez had an early chance from an Antonee Robinson cross but could not sort his feet out.

The game started quickly, with Fulham using Andersen's long-range passing to open up the pitch and West Ham looking to break when they won the ball. Neither side really threatened the opposition's goal.

Mohamed Kudus used his pace to get the Hammers up the pitch, winning a free kick off Sasa Lukic in the process, which came to nothing.

The ball broke to Traore on the halfway line, and he used his pace to bear down on goal. The winger went down after stepping across Max Kilman, with the Fulham man asking for a penalty. After a var check, the on-field decision remained, and Silva picked up a yellow card for his protests.

Traore should have opened the scoring for Fulham, but he missed the target with his header after Alex Iwobi picked him out with a lovely cross.

Just seconds later, Fulham took the lead. The ball fell to Andreas Pereira, who played a lovely ball over the top to Emile Smith Rowe. The Whites's record signing managed to time his run to perfection and got his head up to see Jiminez free in the box six yards from goal, with the Mexican slotting the ball away.

Kudus showed his brilliance again when he breezed past Andersen and whipped a ball into the box, but only white shirts were in the box.

The Cottagers had another chance to end the half after Smith Rowe picked up the ball on the halfway line and played Iwobi down the line. Iwobi eventually found Jiminez, but the striker was unable to get his shot off. He played it to Traore, but the winger was unable to get the ball out of his feet fast enough.

West Ham struggled massively in the first half. They offered nothing in attack and struggled to keep the ball in the middle of the park.

To combat this, Julen Lopetegui made two changes at halftime: Paqueta replaced Soucek, and Michail Antonio made way for Crysencio Summerville.

West Ham had their best chance of the game, with Kudus finding Jarod Bowen in the box, whose effort was saved expertly by Bernd Leno.

After the break, the game slowed down. Both sides committed several fouls, and the game struggled to find a rhythm.

Fulham made a couple of changes to regain their foothold in the game, with Iwobi making way for Reiss Nelson's debut and Lukic making way for Sander Berge.

The home side had a few chances in quick succession, with Smith Rowe’s strike blocked by his own man and Tete smashing the ball wide.

Traore almost finished the game with a header after a lovely ball from Tom Cairney but could not get over the header.

Fulham threatened the West Ham goal again, with Nelsson's shot going straight at Alphonse Areola.

Carlos Soler was lucky to stay on the pitch during his Premier League debut after he made a poor challenge on Calvin Bassey after picking up a yellow card earlier in the game.

West Ham got a free kick after a needless foul from Nelson the ball was wonderful and Andersen dealt with it brilliantly heading behind for a corner.

A dagger to Fulham's hearts late on with Ings equalising in the last minute of the game after a lovely cutback from Bowen and Ings squeezing the ball past Leno in the Fulham goal.

Bassey had a great chance to win the game late on but was unable to get his header on target with the last kick of the game.

West Ham will be the happiest of the two sides with the point late on as Fulham dominated the first half and should not have given the Hammers a chance to get back in the game.
