Benue gov sacks Iorfa

A change of guard has been effected in the management of Lobi Stars as the state government has dissolved the Deputy Governor led board. In a statement signed by Solomon Iorpev, Technical Adviser to the Benue State Governor on Media, Publicity and Strategic Communication, the governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia has directed that with immediate effect, the Lobi Stars be under Benue Sports Council.Similarly, a new board of Lobi Stars has also been constituted with Dr. Philip Nongu as Chairman.Other members of the board are Dr. Iorngulum Malu, who will serve as Secretary, Chief Solomon Andiir, Harry Yachi, Francis Ejiga and Sir James Iorpuu, representing the government. The governor has directed that all management handover must be completed before midnight today.
