Arsenal cool down interest in Victor Osimhen to target £43m Eintracht Frankfurt striker, Omar Marmoush, according to German outlet BILD.

It is football’s worst kept secret that the Gunners are looking to sign a new striker as they feel getting a top player upfront could take them to the next level.

Mikel Arteta’s team has been linked with numerous attackers in recent months and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen have been constantly linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are looking for a versatile forward who can play in a number of positions in the frontline. And Osimhen does not provides that option to Arsenal.

According to BILD, via Sport Witness, the Premier League leader has shown a desire to sign Marmoush.

As per the report, Frankfurt could want only £43 million in order to let him go, making him a far less expensive alternative for the North London team looking to bolster their attack.

Marmoush “dreams” of playing in the Premier League, according to the German publication, if the Premier League club formally expresses interest, they may be able to sign him.

Marmoush has gained attention after impressive performances in the Bundesliga this year and Arteta will be hoping he replicates those performances if he signs him this summer.
