Super Falcons secure narrow win over South Africa

It was not a result the Super Falcons desire but still hold advantage over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the Paris 2024 Olympics qualifiers.

Thanks to Rasheedat Ajibade's 43' penalty goal, the Super Falcons must avoid heavy defeat in the second leg in South Africa.

The first half ended advantage the Super Falcons and had opportunity to increase the tally but the South African goalkeeper, Swart denied the Nigerians in the 48th, 51st and 62nd minutes.

The South Africans had opportunity to level scores in the 55th but goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie saved the attempt by Seopesenwe.
