Renard among top contenders for Super Eagles Job

France Women's team coach, Herve Renard is said to be among the top foreign coaches being considered by the NFF's technical committee.

Renard's contract with the French Football Federation is up very soon as he's leaving the job at the end of the Olympics and the former Saudi Arabia coach wants a return to men's football.

Already, he has informed the FFF of his desire to move on at the end of this summer’s tournament, he outlined his personal objectives going forward.

“It’s a difficult job. If I had to be brief, I have in the back of my mind the 2026 World Cup in men’s football, I hope that it will be my third World Cup at the head of a men’s team. These are my personal motivations,” said Renard.

It is clear that the Frenchman is therefore looking to take charge of another men’s national team in the near future.

However, Nigeria will have to battle other countries like Poland, South Korea, Cameroon and Morocco in the event he finally leaves his French job, according to L’Équipe.
