Rangers not under pressure to win league - Ilechukwu

Despite being among the top contenders for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Rangers International of Enugu coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu says he's not under pressure to the league.
According to the former MFM FC handler, he was not given any specific target at the start of the season.
Speaking to www.sportsunlimited.ng after his team's 2-1 away win to Hearland, he said the players are not under any pressure from management to win the league.
"it's true we have not lost any game in the second round but we have not set any target for ourselves either.
"Management has not given us any target, rather we are all about building a structure for Rangers International.
"We are not looking at the league table. Our victory today against Heartland is part of preparation for next season. We want to build a new structure, not only for the main team but also the under 17 and under 13 teams.
"Our plans is next season, we will start build on the structure we are building now but nobody rejects good thing. If along the lines, the title falls on us, we shall gladly grab it, " the coach said.

Coach Ilechukwu stressed Rangers is not competing with any team but fighting to build an enduring structure.
Nonetheless, he plans to go 10-match unbeaten to set a league record.
"We are looking towards our next five games starting with the Sunshine Stars' match. We want to ensure that after the match next week, we would have gone 10 games unbeaten."
