PSG plots strategy to beat Chelsea to Osimhen

PSG is plotting every move to outmaneuver Chelsea to secure €120M Nigerian, Victor Osimhen, reports www.sportsunlimited.ng.

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are two of the more prominent clubs in the rumor mill for the Nigerian striker.

However, the main issue in this saga appears to be the transfer fee demand. The Serie A side isn’t going to allow Osimhen to leave on a discount. Napoli is reportedly looking for at least €120 million to allow the 25-year-old to leave.

According to the Italian media Il Mattino (h/t Sport.fr), PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos and his deputies have already planned to make an offer with one or two players in the lot against the former LOSC Lille striker.

It’s an idea that appeals to Napoli, as the reigning league champions are interested in players like Carlos Soler, Marco Asensio, Lucas Beraldo, and Lee Kang-in, whom PSG can use as potential bargaining chips.

On the other hand, Chelsea and talks for Osimhen are proceeding, but at a slow pace. As a result, it will be interesting to see what type of deal allows the striker to leave. Does Napoli want just the money, or can PSG leverage some players to lower the price?
