Ola Aina to return Saturday against Aston Villa
Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina could make his first senior appearance since August when the Reds travel to Aston Villa on Saturday.
The Nigerian fullback was unregistered from Forest's Premier League and Europa League squads in September after suffering a hamstring injury, meaning that, despite returning to training some weeks ago, he has remained out of contention.
In recent weeks, Aina has featured twice for the club's B team, playing a combined 153 minutes against Wolves U21s and Millwall U21s as he geared up preparations for an eventual first-team return.
With the January registration window now open, Dyche has confirmed that Aina is in contention for Saturday's trip to Villa Park.
"Ola comes back into the group now, which is good," he confirmed on Thursday.
"He's in contention, he's back in the group. He's got a lot of miles on the clock, obviously, because he couldn't come back into the squad [before January] anyway.
"His injury's fine, he feels fine, so certainly he's back into the group, anyway."
