Nwabali beats Bafana Bafana rival Team of the Cup selection

Following his heroics with ‘The Chilli Boys’ last weekend against TS Galaxy, Super Eagles goalkeeping hero, Nwabali has been named as the best goalkeeper to play in the quarterfinals of the competition, featuring eight different goalkeepers.

He was rewarded with a spot on the Nedbank Cup combined starting XI ahead of Bafana Bafana No 1, Ronwen Williams.

Nwabali’s heroics included him having to save a penalty three minutes to the end against Galaxy, which he did excellently well to prove himself again.

Nwabali will now return to the DSTV Premiership this weekend to battle South Africa’s Williams for this season’s Golden Gloves.
