NALCOMA hails Harcourt Super Eagles' call-up
President of the Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA), Godwin Enakhena, is thrilled about Ebenezer Harcourt's and other home -based players invitation to the Super Eagles.
"It's a testament to his hard work and dedication," he said. Ebenezer, a goalkeeper who plies his trade with Sporting Lagos in the Nigeria National League(NNL), has been on fire, making incredible saves and leading his team to victory.
"I have three good goalkeepers in Sporting Lagos and he is one of them,I will not forget in a hurry his excellent goalkeeping in our recent match against Stormers Sporting Club 2of Abeokuta ,he ensure we did not loose to Stormers "
Ebenezer's journey to the national team is an inspiration to many. Growing up, he was always passionate about football, and his father Ifeanyi Harcourt, a goalkeeper trainer at Enyimba International Football Club, nurtured his talent. Ebenezer's big break came when he joined Sporting Lagos, and he's been making waves in the NNL ever since.
Super Eagles coach Eric's decision to invite Ebenezer to the national team is a nod to his exceptional skills. I commendEric Chelle for recognizing his exceptional skills and selecting him and others for the national team.Players from our domestic leagues can make a significant impact on the national stage "It's not about the division you're playing in, it's about how good you are," Enakhena said.
Ebenezer's experience with the Flying Eagles and the CHAN team has prepared him for this moment, and he's ready to make a mark on the bigger stage.
Ebenezer's family is beaming with pride. His father Ifeanyi, who has trained countless goalkeepers, says it's no surprise Ebenezer has made it to the Super Eagles. "It runs in the blood," he said.
The NALCOMA President wishes Ebenezer and the rest of the home based players all the best for the upcoming AFCON and hopes Ebenezer's invitation inspires other home-based players to chase their dreams.
"We have Stanley Nwabali our first choice ,may be Okoye Maduka 2nd and Ebenezer Harcourt should be in the train to Morocco he concluded.
